Dno, there's lots of countries around the globe which we don't agree with yet are left alone (mainly in Africa). It's about whether or not the country which 'doesn't play to our tune' is an actual threat to us or not.Shahter wrote:

Take North Korea for example, Kim and his cronies are insane - and have been closely watched for the past 50 years or so. On the other hand, Turkmenistan has had a dictator for decades and I believe they weren't exactly big on the west either, until 9/11 it was barely on the radar.
