you know, i never thought i'd say this... but i'm not feeling it so much. burial is winter-dark music for me. all this spring-summer releasing is confusing me... i have no idea why kode9 kept it until now. not the mood or atmosphere that burial aims for at all. plus it's not quite as different as i was expecting. still top-grade, of course, but c'mon! it's burial. very high standards to be met.

nyc is kinda repetitive. no burial track has ever felt repetitive to me before. but that track just goes on and on and on and the only thing that changes is he drops a sly 4/4 bass beat towards the end as a sort of refrain. i dunno.
