siding with powder gangers just doesn't work for me
Even when friendly with them, they attack me.. If I fight back I loose rep.

I think I might start a non-violent playthrough.
It's gonna be tough, I'd need to spend a fortune on bean-bag shells.

Speaking of Powder Gangers...
That guy in Nipton who had his legs beat to fuck by the Legion as his "2nd prize" in the lottery...
Damn that ungratefull bastard just must die!
Spoiler (highlight to read):
Though don't, because you auto-fail a quest in Camp-Searchlight for doing so

Beat the game without killing anything. Great ending. i went Independent and liked that i could basically use diplomacy to talk everyone down at the end.

I couldn't find a scope either...henno13 wrote:
After a good 10 hours or so playing, it's a pretty fun game. I find in this game, VATS can't hit shit, and I'm sticking to real time combat and using the ironsights. The Hunting Rifle, as in the previous game, is my favourite weapon. I still can't find a scope for it though
Oh, the quest "I Put a Spell on You" is fucking riduclious. It's impossible to diffuse the bomb as there is a trigger in the middle of the path that sends the train away. If you avoid the trigger and get on, there is no bomb to diffuse.
I planted the bomb.henno13 wrote:

Though I found it helps if you go inside a room, wait 3x24hours and then wait 1 hour.. then shops are reset and you can recheck the gun-runners, Novac & 188 trading post for scopes
Why the fuck would you buy Duct tape?Reciprocity wrote:

but I never use the hunting rifle. supressed sniper rifle all the way.
you've never made a weapon repair kit? easy money when you don't feel like playing blackjack. pick up a bumper sword or super sledge, fix it up and sell it for 4k. then you could buy all the .308 ammo you need.flappy wrote:

Sniper rifle is fragile as shit
"This machine" is where it's all at...

not when you've picked the map clean.FloppY_ wrote:
And tbh there is just as much duct tape, wrenches & the other stuff needed for a repair kit just lying around waiting to be picked up
What about wrenches & the other crap then?? :pReciprocity wrote:

Yeah... companion quests are especially prone to auto-failing thanks to stupid script errors, like having to talk to someone while you have a certain companion...Doctor Strangelove wrote:

Scripting bugs are the game's biggest downside.
