This is good news for many people interested in the game i'm sure:

First let me tell you about our plans for the game. Imagine that Worms Reloaded is just the start of the project and not the end. By that I mean that we intend to support this game for a long time to come and that means engaging with the community and where possible giving what the community wants for the game. So I am sure that there will be lots of things that people may not like or would like to see added. Once the game is out, we want to discuss in detail what we can do to make the game even better than we think it is already.

For example, when WR launches it won't have a speech bank editor, but if the community wants one (I know I do) then we will sort it out.

back when it was first released on console/pc, playing this multiplayer-locally with your friends was HILARIOUS. the game is FUNNY. the sound-bites, animation and little clips have this patent 'worms' style humour. i dunno, it's a british thing. the game doesn't seem to have translated well or sold well in america the first time around, for whatever reason. i can guarantee you will find this game FUN. preferably fun to play local or with friends you know over teamspeak. it's simple and fast, easy entertainment.

Manually updating DirectX apparently fixes that.

I really wonder why they didn't use that standard pre-installer in Steam for updating it.

I prefer the little side weapons selection on right click over the fullscreen one. Everything else feels pretty much the same.

I preferred 2 to armageddon..things had already started to get stale by the time armageddon came out and it just didn't have the same charm.

Might give this a look, but as I don't really play tf2 I'll be in the minority who buy it for the actual worms gameplay.
