Ground fighting. Standing, exchanging punches and kicks is a poor fighting strategy. Clinch the opponent, come in close where his punches and kick dont have much power and take to fight to the ground where punching and kicking are not effective. Tire your opponenet and then apply a joint lock or choke hold.

A skilled fighter will tend to have his hands open, more intrested in grabbing you and breaking your bones than punching your lights out.
