I got unlimited texts... even though I send like 30-60 texts a month (1per day goes to my mom since she wants to hear when I depart from school due to her worrying too much about traffic & dangers of driving)..

So I send 0-30 texts per month

I still like having unlimited though, it gives peace of mind... I remember once when I didn't have unlimited and I got a girlfriend... ouch... easily sent near 100 texts per day (was young and didn't live near her).

Dude, Its not about getting them close, its how they communicate. They text just to say whats up or to have a conversation in lieu of calling.
