So, it seems like a "clean up" of D&ST should happen... indeed the amount of red text I saw indicated that something is happening...
Now,
How should we go about 'Fixing' D&ST?
Note the emphasis - IF YOU CAN'T CONTRIBUTE TO THAT TOPIC, STAY OUT.
Disagreeing =/= not contributing.
Flaming/Personal attacks = not contributing
Now, to start off this thread, I'll say that one way to help would be through the clear presentation of rules, or guidelines. As FM stated, it should not be written solely by the staff of BF2s, the users should have some say... well let's start. One guideline I'll propose is that every op must have a question, or 'thesis' statement to guide the discussion. If the discussion cannot stay on topic, then the thread can get closed.
Feel free to add your own, or clearly state why this approach would not work - I'm willing to listen, as long as you don't resort to personal attacks.
