But max, it's epic. My GTX275 is running under 40°C idle, never goes above 50°C on full load.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Yeee about that.. My doovde player is a hint old and I figured why buy a new one since it works so... IDE cable
That power cord is more of an enemy. Not long enough to slip it to the back side panel. That's the only way it's long enough to reach the plug

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
Fuuuu my P5Q Pro Turbo cost £100.
the dlx costs 130 here most of the timeFinray wrote:

E: Also what do the PCI-E lanes run in when they're occupied? Mine run 16x on each, 8x on CF/SLI.

and wat?
I'll let someone cleverer than me explain.
Basically you want all your occupied lanes to run more than 8x otherwise you get performance drop.

ofcourse i use 16x lanes with my gpu. why would i use less when you have enough.

When you have SLI/Crossfire they drop.menzo wrote:

For example, many boards have 16x when there's only one card installed, but if you install another it'll go to 8x for each. Some really bad boards keep one at 16x and drop the other to 4x.
yeh true, ill keep an eye out for then when im going to run SLI eventually. im single gpu nowFinray wrote:

Should have really looked before you bought tbh
dude, every p45 mobo does pci-e 2.0 x16 for a minimum of 1 slot. this board is CF certified so it does 8x 8x as well.Finray wrote:

Yeah but what happens if you want a third card? Are you thinking of going tri?
