I dont have a massive library so that doesnt matter to me. And I've never found it laggy or unresponsive at all. Plus, as I've stated 1000 times, the 7 feature for Music + monitor 1 folder = ftw.

Also, the skin I have separates them by artist name so you never have the long, ugly, laggy list that the default one has. This one is really quick since it doesnt need to show every single song at once

i dont think you need any customization...i like winamp as it is
i never load big playlists into it so i dont have that problem...i categorize my playlists by genres/months etc etc so they never get big

I dont care about looks and have a small library so winamp works just fine for me. I have no complaints about how stuff is organized in it either.
