A bump back ontopic

I saw a very cute girl standing with her dog, waiting for the elevator as I came back from class this afternoon. I took the stairs as usual, figuring she was going to the top floor (there's only 5 floors, and 2-4 usually take the stairs), but as I came out of the stairwell sure enough there she was with her dog, who seemed very interested in me. I told her - "cute dog", but the words barely even came out and apparently weren't audible. It was the first time I had ever choked on my words while talking to a female. I was and walking to my door.

I'm honestly wondering if I didn't suffer a bit of brain damage when I got my concussion a bit over a month ago, my short term memory has been absolute shitterrible. I thought today was wednesday ffs. The other day I spent a solid 15-20 seconds staring at the keypad to my apartment complex, trying to remember the code. It's been the same for about 8 months and I punch it in 2-3 times daily.

Not looking for advice etc just sharing

that's happened to me before, i wouldn't really worry too much... i talk pretty fast irl to begin with so it's bound to happen i guess

Kind of annoying since its been going on for almost a year. I never understood why is she acting like that, only to me.

I'm pretty sure there wasn't anyone behind me at the loads of times she either smiled/ started hitting me for no reason/ going red/ saying stupid shit, the list goes on.

And, as usual, as soon as we were only two, she shut up, becoming cold. And now this.

Your call. I'd just go for it if I were you. Edge on the side of casual/social if you're unsure. (ie not some secluded place where it's just the two of you)
