I'm a supporter of sensible gun rights. A similar system to what we have now but including pistols.

It doesn't take much money and much time for a decent person to get a rifle in the uk.

I heard this story once of a that got mugged, however he just ran away from the mugger. In America the mugger could just catch up to the other guy as all americans are fat, then the victim would be lying on the ground bleeding and poor, whilst the mugger pranced merrily away.

Speaking of guns, my 13 year old son saved up enough money to buy a 1942 Mosin Nagant 91/30. Never been issued or shot. complete with a bayonet. Made famous as a Russian sniper rifle in the battle of Stalingrad. took it shooting the other day and had a blast with that thing.

He now is a proud owner of that Mosin Nagant, a Remington 870 tactical shotgun, and a Ruger 10/22. Gunna have to buy a bigger gun case soon I think.

I don't know about the eu nor I care to...

You need to apply for a license specific to the firearm you want here. Kinda like how you would apply for a surpressor. It stops complete mongs, career criminals and paranoid cretins from getting hold of a weapon easily. I'm just saying that's our system, I don't particularly want to debate it as I'm tired.
