People from Syracuse (about 3 hours from where I live) say that they know I'm from around Buffalo because of my accent. 3 hours isn't even far, everybody has their own accent I guess

If I go to Ohio, Minnesota, or Colorado I can't hear their accents, which would suggest we share a common accent, so at the very least there is no exclusive 'Canadian' accent.
