In no way is clicking a mousebutton any form of skill. However, having to aim the knive yourself and clicking makes it a whole lot more difficult then this bullshit console-ish autoknive shit.

In fact, the autoknive in BC2 is even more retarded than in CoD4/6. The other day I was playing online with a clanmate of mine. I saw some random dude, pressed my magic autoknive button. However, while doing this the man ran through a door and ran behind a wall, yet I still knived him. Bullshit or bullshit? I call bullshit..

yet the majority of the time you get the kill animation but it doesn't kill them. The knife is horribly broken.

from the time passed between choosing to knife pressing keyboard and pressing mouse compared to just pressing mouse is big enough to make a difference

but its the same both both players involved in the knife fight, so it doesnt really matter does it

i'm pretty sure it's just me, but for some reason the games runs relatively smoothly for a minute or two, then it lags really bad-like for another minute or two

anyone know what it might be? i'm thinking more hardware than anything, but maybe someone has another answer

It is broken as fuck, but it does auto aim.

Try it sometime if the server lags out. Up to about 45 degrees either side it locks on.

its caused by it locking on to some one else if your right on top of someone it usually locks on to someone else even if their 50 feet away.

i seem to have three or four seconds where framerate basically goes to about one, if i'm spectating someone then a big explosion happens. Given that it happens when I'm dead not too much of an issue for me. Do think it's hardware, though.
