Will to Power

Will to pleasure. I definitely don't believe in will to meaning as I could care less. I believe in will to power, but I think I just want power because power is a necessity to sex and aggression.

I believe people on earth is like bacteria on a rotting pumpkin- In the end- were all just here to eat the pumpkin. I think very literally of that actually. For example, take a plane ride from San Francisco to Orange County. You see beautiful valleys the whole way, rolling hills, and clear ocean, then you get near LA county. What the fuck is that? The smog and filth. You could burn down all of LA and it would just grow to be bigger and more fucked up than it was. People are a manifestation and disease in most cases. Sure people could be productive and non destructive. Think of the Native Americans. Well sure, but so is bacteria in yogurt.

So back to the end, that answers my will to meaning question. Because I'm convinced were all just here to fuck, and fuck shit up.

As man progresses through life the driving force behind what they do changes. I think the will to pleasure happens first followed by will to power and then the will to meaning.

Power and pleasure are not mutually exclusive. Man is driven to physically and sexually dominate his surroundings, that is what he derives greatest pleasure from. The desire to accumulate wealth, the desire to fuck every girl in the room, it's from the desire for power over his environment.

Meaning is for those without power. The search for meaning is the search to derive purpose when powerless in your surroundings.

I answered pleasure but when I read the op it became clear that the definition did not apply. I get my pleasure from making others happy, sex and stuff plays a small part in my life but not enough to influence what I do. What am I if I don't fall into any of these?
