I'm not saying that any country should be given back to their original inhabitants. If you did, the original owners would come in the order that they occupied the land, so if you didn't have the originals, you would use the next one. Therefore with that, Palestine was Jewish territory before Islamic, so if there was any claim to ownership, Jewish settlers would come before Islamic ones. Not that hard to understand.

I think the point is out of all the people that once inhabited that land for any significant time, the only two remaining are the Arabs and Jews, and out of those two, Jews came before Muslims/Arabs.

When the Muslims first came, just like now when the Jews are coming, it was probably a mess that took awhile to fix too, it's not like they came and suddenly the land was turned into Paradise.
