I was thinking before about all of the death and destruction all over the world earlier today. I realized that well there are just plenty of people dying or being enslaved or whatever all over the giant world. Some places Slavery is still practiced for instance.
Now every internet forum that has a debate section you'll find a huge thread, at least relative to every other thread, about Israel. Now what makes me wonder if; Why
I've always noticed that some Westerners just get a hard on for calling for the death of Israel and the land going to making a Palestinian state. Most of these said westerners are Christians and Atheist and the most interaction they have with Muslims is their one token Muslim friend.
Now this group always talks about the horrors that the Israelis commit on the Palestinians. But when you really consider it there are places in this lovely world where much worse things are happening to much more people over much sillier issues. But you won't get more than 3 pages on a debate on Darfur or Tibet and if you open a thread about Africa expect racist replies I know I make plenty of them myself.
But a thread about some Israeli soldier running a stop sign will get the usual bunch to sword rattle like a Mongol trying to get past bouncer at a whore house. The thread will spiral off into some 10 page bullshit usually.
Now consider most of these people don't have any family stake down there or are Muslims or are isolated from the situation by an ocean or several thousand miles, and there are much more horrific events happening in the world do you think most of it is just well said and written antisemitism that the person spewing said writing and words many not even be aware of?
