I'm putting this poll out there because I would like to find out what people have been hearing about the swine flu shot.

I know a pediatrican who is not going to let his children get the shot because of some really really nasty side effects.
Apparently in Australia and New Zealand, children are suffering actual heart attacks and strokes from the H1N1 flu shot.
May be the friends down under can enlighten us with some news because the US news is really silent on anything negative and they are really selling the shot like its a safe panacea.

And flu shots cause guillain barre syndrome
And the swine flu shot is going to have thimerosol preservative which contains mercury and is linked to causing autism in kids.

Me and my family are not getting a shot... IMO you're better off with the flu.

This is true only if "us" refers to New York state healthcare workers or members of the military. At this point those are the only ones who required to get it.

naw, the clinic came to our office, waived the co-pay. idk the effective rate, they could give me a sugar cube - i do it to help keep the spread of the flu @ work down.

Rushed vaccine is a bad vaccine. And flu season is ending.

PS. It's free here and I suspect it'll be the same in America soon enough.

Yes. Normal flu has killed far more people than H1N1.
