The meer fact it has U.S. Marines makes it gameplay worthy. Even if it crashes on startup.

It's a good cheap arcade buy, fun for a few hours.

3/4 maps get old pretty quick though.
i got back into bad company after 1943 was released and enjoyed it a lot more after playing the cheap-arcade game for a week. it's always a good recommendation if you feel like you want more 'content'.

I played the Wake Island demo and though it was boring. It didn't feel like Battlefield at all. Three classes and CoD style health? Piss outta my ass.

Doesn't really need lots of weapon choices. SMG. Semi Auto Rifle. Sniper Rifle. Plus the Demolition packs/Bazooka etc..
Does the job and keeps things nicely balanced without any fuss. Plus it doesn't take forever to kill someone either, yet the weapons aren't over noob friendly so with an SMG you still need to use burst fire at times. The Sniper rifle isn't an over easy whore weapon either. It's probably one of the most well balanced and fun MP FPS games out there with nothing that stands out as "the faggot thing that everyone does"
You know, how in certain games you get the G36E Medics, or the P90 fags, or the AWP idiots etc.. none of that bullshit in '43
And for £10 it's worth it. Obviously doesn't suit everyone's tastes though.
