Yeah pretty much. I actually putted very well, my short game has always been my strong area. I can't drive for shit Seriously, I hit a driver about 240 max last night. I watched my buddy hit his sand wedge about 135 too I actually saved par on a hole by putting it in from right on the fringe/rough. It was probably my best shot of the night haha.

I've had a driving slump this year as well, so terrible that I've left it at home the last few rounds.

I purchased a Callaway hybrid last year, and it's actually pretty damn good. Surprisingly good.

I've always been good at the medium distances, ie- 70-160 meters, and pretty good when I'm just off the green, but it's those half-shots from 20-50 meters that I fail at. Just can't get any spin at all

That's bollocks, it is a matter of priorities. You know how much the average Frenchman spends on food, even though wages are lower than e.g. here in Holland? In France it is not uncommon to see a guy dressed in rags frequent a classy restaurant each friday or so. The Russians used to complain that they didn't have as much money as Europeans and they wouldn't take the cab if the driver raised the price with 20 Rubles. Yet at the same time, they bought drinks and several icecreams each several times a day, and I mean Russian icecreams, which are like Russian army: raw, pure, uncompromising and twice as big as any Western counterpart.
