Extremely good movie! Fikus, as he was called at one point, did a great acting job. The guy was so fucking irritating and great at the same time

I'm not really a fan of Scorsese to begin with. Maybe I just don't 'get' his style. The movie was alright, had some ok characters, but I really only became interested at around the 2-hour mark...

However last night I saw Inglorious Basterds and I enjoyed it a lot.

Great effects, some original ideas, well made.
Somewhat transparent metaphors though, and the plot gaps were a shame.

Sure did. It had me intrigued more, I found the characters more interesting, the action was intense. And even though it was 3 hours long, I didn't want it to end, but when it did, it was perfect.
