This shit is so dissapointing. First you kick a terminally sick man while he's down , then claim that political liberalism is "Crime" . Maybe stop drinking a sixpack per night before posting.
I disagree.  Kennedy is a dispicable human being.  You have yours across the pond too.  I wonder if he even be still alive if he was under Obama care...

Where did I say liberalism is a crime?

So what's new? The guys on the opposite side have a family history that is just as bent. It seems you don't get anywhere in your country unless you're crooked.

I agree, he is the epitome of what is wrong with politics in the US.

@Method:  Both sides are messed up, true.  We have a lot of cleaning up to do.  I just wish more people had the balls to stand up and call a spade a spade.

I'm sure many Islamists would agree with you.  All those pesky liberal ideals like gender equality and separation of church and state aren't particularly well liked in certain parts of the world.
You mean affirmative action and separation of "non-donating to Democrats" church and state ...
Again, it was liberalism that ended segregation and gave women the right to vote.  Affirmative action made sense when it was first implemented.

Also, liberalism was responsible for putting social programs into place.  Sure, it's easy to point out how some people abuse the system, but if you look at how truly wretched life was for the poor before social programs, then it makes more sense as to why these things are necessary.

What are you talking about man, liberalism is all about communism and losing rights ( according to people on this forum anyway).

Apparently liberalism has lead to the following though. Cant be good.

1.freedom of speech and the press
2.separation of church and state
3.equal opportunity for all
4. the importance of the working class.

Don't have to worry about kicking a sick man any more.

He's no longer sick.

leave it to MSNBC to give a three sentence mention about how his actions left a young woman dead before her time was up. you could say he pulled an oswald on her.

To borrow from Ted Kenedy's eulogy of Robert Kenedy

My brother need not be idealized, or enlarged in death beyond what he was in life;
to be remembered simply as a good and decent man,
who saw wrong and tried to right it,
saw suffering and tried to heal it,
saw war and tried to stop it.

Even if he was a champagne socialist he did do some good for the country. Its a shame that working for the welfare of the poor and down trodden is such a crime in this country. But to be villified for a life of good deeds from a group of people whose eulogy would read

who saw wrong and tried to profit from it,
saw suffering and tried to profit from it,
saw war and tried to profit from it.

If those type of people are angry about your life deeds, then IMO you must have done some good.

Too bad chapaquitic had to happen otherwise we could have had him as president instead of Nixon or Reagan.

It'd be funny if it made sense. Ted Kennedy was never VP.

The whole point was that Ted Kennedy would drive Hillary home, knock her off (thus removing her from the contentious primary race and ensuring Obama's success in attaining the nomination), after which Obama would reward Kennedy by nominating him to be his vice-president.

Yah Ghetto, it's making a joke about the Chapaquitic incident that pretty much wrote off Ted's political career, more or less.

I know what it's about, but wouldn't it make more sense if Ted had become VP after it happened? I dunno, maybe I'm just having a slow day.

EDIT: Wait, I get it now, I didn't really look at the photo clearly and mistook Kennedy for Biden. I was reading too much into it.
