Well it's official I've hit rock bottom. I'm shopping for shoes online while at the same time looking up the plot online for Girl, Interrupted and listening to Placebo.

Mall.. no. Not unless you are stuck in 1998. Or if you don't care about getting a bargain. Ofc some people just enjoy the mall thing. Not me .

Eh the people aren't that great to have to be around but seeing how those lovely things you can buy is a great feeling. Like hundreds of stores you could go in and get anything you want from any of them and walk out with a bunch of new pointless shit, feels good, no?

Well then go in and see what you can buy and then go home and buy them online at a discount. The feeling I get when I see my ex UPS colleagues delivering the goods to my front door is just as exciting.

I've noticed UPS prices have generally been lower than USPS and FedEx when I buy stuff over the net. 

Is there a way to have them leave your package at the door instead of having to sign that sticky note and have them deliver it again the next day?

Depends on if the shipper requested the signature or not (or the neighborhood, apts). If it looks like expensive electronics the driver will also use his or her judgment. The driver would prefer to leave the package, rather than working extra the next two days. Leave them a signature in advance when you know they are going to deliver it. Just say I give you permission and stick it on the door. A driver would MUCH rather leave the package the first go around. I tried to driver release as much as I could.

Edit: Sometimes there is no way around it. If the shipper request the the signature in person it has to be on the DIAD (the board they carry). Remember the shipper is always UPS's customer.
