Too fast for my driving skills...
257km/h according to the speedometer which tends to lag behind the real value by about 5-6%. The car should be electronically limited to 250km/h
tbh going really fast in a straight line is rather boring. Curvy mountain roads is where the fun is at.

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Yeah but the basic vehicle is the same I think. There weren't that many decent photos on Image Search to choose from.lettuce wrote:

Nah, just the regular non-turbo. But it was still a pretty fast car and took the turns well. Sweetest feeling was taking that hill on the 805 southbound in San Diego, just pass the freeway heading toward SeaWorld. I'd take the right most lane, and just literary climb that hill with no effort whatsoever, smoking everyone in sight. I could have probably taken that car around 150mph+, but no clear roads to risk it. It was hard to let go of that car. Got plenty of horizontal action with that car...Macbeth wrote:

135mph (217km/h) in my Merkur XR4Ti.
150mph (241km/h) in my S2000.
ah, to be young and stupid.

Lucky bastard 3000 GT were before my time and finding any in good condition for a reasonable amount is damned near impossible. You could get around 150. Though if it were up to me I would have gotten the 92 3000 so that I could get the old style headlights.
What color was yours?

I have a hard time saying no to turbocharged cars. I'd probably still have it if my stepfather hadn't torn the door off the car at a gas station.burnzz wrote:

in my experience, it (the car) was a cool concept that failed in application - like the 'Star Wars' program that was conceived of @ the same time.
'80's tech that should've been red-lighted by the production team.
i will believe you buried the speedometer, i'm surprised the tachometer didn't pop out of the dash board.
it was $800. spent another $500 rebuilding the engine. The interior was falling apart but the body and paint was in good shape. It was a fun beater and great on Oregon backroads, even with a worn suspension. RWD, 4 wheel independent suspension, 5 speed manual, 185hp turbocharged engine. it was an amusing car.
I went 105 mpg in this:
105mpg? Shit man! That's economical
thats wat i thought!!!! lucky if i get more than 35-37 mpg out of my vectra.Ultrafunkula wrote:
