A-fucking-men to that. And yet, these activists complain of racism. If anything, we're being racist to everyone other than them.mikkel wrote:
Yeah, Mexicans can fuck off just like all other illegals. I have to go through forms and applications, heaps of other paperwork, thousands of dollars in application fees and an ~8 month wait just to get the damn visa to get into the country, and then I have to pay more fees and do more paperwork and fill out more forms to adjust status, and THEN I have to wait two years to become a citizen. But sure. Grant those fuckers amnesty. It's only fair.
Here's another problem with this program...the dealers' computer is not the property of the Federal Government and they can scan/monitor/whatever the computer - forever:

Oh BTW...the credit we would get from the program is considered income for the dealer and they must pay taxes for it:

That's right, screw over all of the people who can't afford to buy a new car by giving their money to people who can. Thanks congress! I need a car, and I'm going to just have a harder time a used car at a decent price. Not to mention, they are just destroying all of these vehicles. What a waste! They should have at least parted them out.
Eh The dealership has so destroy the engine. They sent us this solution your supposed to pour in and and this long ass process to destroy it when you can just drain the oil, put the car in park, and then floor the gas peddle till the engine dies. It then gets sent to a scrap yard and they have to scrap it, they're allowed to take whatever they want from it at the scrap yard cept the engine of course the engine is useless.Deadmonkiefart wrote:

I, for one, thank Obama. My POS car just got alloy rims I took from a car that was going to get scrapped. So no more car with hub caps
Well, DUH! It's "limey".Turquoise wrote:

Stay on top of that...seriously. USCIS is the most inept organization I've ever seen--governmental or private.

It would have taken 2 minutes tops if they had drained the oil and it wouldn't have been fuming like that. Dipshits.Harmor wrote:

Wealthy people are buying Corvettes and pickup trucks with their clunker rebate...
And i'm sure dealers are working on any scam they can...
The only thing this clunker rebate(money from our taxes) does is take used affordable cars off the road...the kind that people
without a lot of money buy...
We need a cash for beer bailout...turn in your used cans for full beers... I'm thirsty... lol
Love is the answer
Can't buy pickup trucks with the rebate because they aren't fuel efficient. I already tried it[TUF]Catbox wrote:

I wonder how much it would cost to increase the fuel efficiency of a vehicle by 4 mpg?

While I agree with the general idea of what they're saying, I have to say that Newsbusters's editorial style makes Huffington Post look objective by comparison.Harmor wrote:

Yeah its a little conservative. I don't think "news" is in the comments, but they reported it like it was. I just linked to their site to give them credit for the Youtube video.
And just WTF is a Volvo like that doing being traded in under this program? That makes no sense. It's fairly new and fuel efficient.Harmor wrote:

this program is not taking affordable fuel efficient cars out of the market. my wife's '00 saturn gets 20 mpg, but is rated at 28 combined mpg for this program. there are still plenty of used cars [ones that are not gas guzzlers] for poor people.
