What has made the claymore different than it always has been ?

The Jackhammer is exellent Short/Mid range weapon, I've even taken out Cobra's with it!

The UBERGUN will always be the Remington (in close range) for those with quick reflexes and good positioning.  It's the one shot kill without killing yourself.

Longer ranges the 92FS is pretty good.

I think the best infantry weapon varies depending on what kit your using, for Medic I always go for the L85A1 since patch 1.2, The G3 will always get kills provided you do not run out of ammo (spraing for the lose), Support is still the PKM or MG36 at close range, Spec Ops G36C (like there is a real choice ), Anti Tank... dont go anti tank unless you really have to , Engineer without a doubt the Euro Forces Benelli shotgun or the MP7 if unavailable & as for snipers... some combination of whatever sniper rifle is to hand, a box of claymores & a series of endless pistol-pot-shots

I don't know if you joking or not, but that is always how a  claymore gets me, I stop to look at it, then it explodes, where as if I run right past it, nothing.

RPG and DAO combo owns all. RPG has splash damage unlike the ERYX, so you can take out multiple enemies that are close together, abit like the 1.03 noobtube only with longer firing distance. Just a shame it's only available in SF

Same here, I see them from FAR away stop and look at them for a couple seconds and BOOM!!

Latley I have had them blow me up while I was backing up from them...which is funny when you think about it, because it didnt want to blow me up when I was comming forward...but the minute I push the old "S" key down BOOM!

Something needs to be done to these! they should get the nerf stick like everything else, why should snipers be the only kit not getting fagged up? if you want true balance fag up all the kits!!!!!one.

Better walk around as sniper. Claymores are still very usefull.
Claymore tend to kill enemies just by walking by it. Claymores seem to ignore teammates, so don't worry about the teamkills.

Claymores are dreadfull nasty critters.
