I dont understand this.

If i buy a rig minus gfx card the grand total INC VAT = £668.03

If i then add a 4890 atomic which is £203 INC VAT that should equal around £871 in grand total inc vat.

yet ocuk want to charge me £903 grand total. Where did the £32 come from. Shipping rate didnt change, so its not that, and it doesnt cost them £30 more to ship a gfx card anyway.

It appears to me they charge vat twice... once on individual products, and then again on the total order ? That cant be legal ?

Labor to install and plug into the power supply.  My advice, build your own.  Go through a site, like newegg.com,  pick each individual part from the computer you are looking at and you will come out with more money in your pocket.

Adding components adds weight to the shipment. Adding the graphics card probably takes the overall weight up a tier.

Oh, shipping charge doesn't change.

Try using another site tbh. I heard that OCUK is generally more expensive anyhow. (eBuyer, perhaps)

Scan is better than OCUK and you get free next day postage if you sign up to some forum they are affiliated with.

Similar spec as the atomic, £74 cheaper

the XFX HD 4890 BE has reference cooler. Its pretty loud compared to the Atomic's cooler.

So it wasn't a fucking tech problem, just a overlooked-the-fucking-website problem.

It's a lot harder to be fucking sarcastic about that without sounding like a real fucking dick.
