There are multiple dimensions of love. I am loved by my family. Loved by my friends.
I take that love for granted though.

I feel unconditional love the most from my children.
Love in the conventional sense is unconditional, and therefore meaningless.
God loves me and I love me...
Love is the answer

A desperate man may cling to anything, even if it's worthless. Just because he clings to it doesn't make it mean something.ATG wrote:

No.. well, if you don't count my parents. So I'll say yes.
Family was at Disneyland yesterday. Youngest son was asleep. Wife and kids went ahead to the parking structure while I got stuck behind buying some stuff. At the parking area, son wakes up and first thing he says, "Where's daddy?". Ha!!! Best show of love a father could ask for...
I was loved by my grand parents. I'm loved by my bros and parents. I'm loved by my kids. I was once loved by my ex.
When going to supermarket or other stores, my oldest, at that time he was 4. He had a bad habit of getting away from us. One day we teached ( or thought, not sure here.) him a lesson. We hide away from him for about 5 min. When he came back where we were he couln'd find us. He was calling for us but we shut up a bit making him regret what he was doing. When we turn the corner of the alley and he saw us, you should have seen his face. I knew he was loving me and his mother. This is just an example and with kids there's a ton of it. Even if they bring your personal life to a pause in some ways, it brings other stuff that can't be quantified.

god=No, he hates me.
Children=Yes, he tells me every day. Although he will probably grow out of that.
Parents=Yes, would do anything for me. A mothers love is usually unconditional. That in itself has got me through some bad times.
GF=Yes
Im prity happy with the love levels at the minute. You show it, you get it back.

The only way I know if I am in love is when I let my GF withdraw money out of my checking account. Normally I would say hands off.
I must love my friends because I let them drink my beer.
I love my family because I live three states over.
I love my work because I come in early and leave late.
I love baseball because I take steroids (not really)

True love showed by a friend is when he wants to be hundreds of miles away from you but he stands by you.
When you recognize reality for what it is and can still be happy, you're doing something right.ghettoperson wrote:

With all this love around surely the world will improve...
Yes, since we have the love guru in chief leading the US surely everyone will beat their assault rifles into plows to cultivate fields of daisies which we will sell to feed the world.

I've been loved, have loved. Not sure if I am currently by other than my mom. Ach.
See, there's no such thing as a friend who'll answer my "could you help me out" with "yeah, sure". Puts a smile on my face.

I like pie.
