I'll grow old and die in the house I built last year outside Ballycastle, North Antrim Coast, Northern Ireland. Very happy here. I live about 3miles up in the hills looking down at Ballycastle. I can see the sea, Rathlin Island an extinct volcano, forests and I am perched right on the top of Glenshesk (one of the nine glens of antrim) the views are stunning.
Its a conservation town, looks nice. Good friendly ppl. Done some traveling and was always happiest when at home.
Belfast is an hour away if I need a city fix.

I like Dublin. The weather isn't spectacular but it's better than most places I suppose. The city is full of culture and the people are relatively nice. Theres a big divide in the city though. People who live in the north tend to be more of the anti-social uneducated chav type while the south tends to be the overpricey insecure money driven gay accent side. I'm pretty much just normal. I'm not rich but I'm nowhere near anti-social. It's hard to find people like that around my area but those are the kinda people that I make friends with.

Theres not a lot to do for locals except shop or go to the beach right now. Not many arcades or airsoft places nearby but I make do.

Back when I was living closer to central London, it was a small house but shit was nearby (shops etc..), now I'm further out in a much bigger place but now shit is like 7 minutes further away than before

I certainly have no problem with Vienna. Rated as one of the best possible cities to live in all of Europe, I'd say that speaks volumes. Public transport rocks, lots of green space and Austria just kicks ass in general. Could do without the Austrian Freedom Party, though ... but that's another thing altogether.
