The Sims 3 is a strategic life simulation video game in the popular and critically acclaimed The Sims franchise, originally created by Maxis. Within the series' chronology, it is a prequel to both The Sims and The Sims 2, as well as spin-offs such as The Sims: Bustin' Out. A collector's edition will also be available, which comes with a free sports car download, a sticker sheet, and a 2GB Plumbob-shaped USB drive. In contrast to the previous versions, the houses and neighborhoods will be seamless, allowing players to explore and interact with their neighborhood without loading time.

Ye its a bit wonky compared to 2 but I think I'll eventually get the hang of it.
I miss all my items from 2, especially since I had all EPs.

Apparently the leaked version was only a demo, or a demo version, with half the stuff missing (neighbourhoods, items), I still love it though.

Actually, it's only shipping with one neighborhood. The second one is download only, probably to discourage piracy.

Hah, good point. Another neighbourhood isn't really that much of the game tbh. Does anyone actually read/care about the back story?

This game is actually hilariously fun.

I had a King Henry VIII Moment, I had 6 children all girls ( I like to continue my families with male children)

And I made a Billy Mays in memorium, I'm going to try to produce as many Mays offspring as possible.

the families have a storyline (or a background story anyway)
you are suppose to write the story yourself by playing the game
