Overflowing from the car spotting thread, this is the thread to come to if you want to discuss anything car related, be it car problems, or just to post up a pic of a car you really like, and get a good, thorough discussion going about it.

While we're at it:

OK.

German Cars = Best all rounders - Reliability, Drive, Quality.
Italian = Best looking - Dodgy build quality
British = Generally nice styling, some fantastic engines.
Japanese = Best reliability by a way, 'odd' styling. Resourceful
American = Americana Muscle was good, very very well styled cars. Nowadays, Style=No, Build qual= getting better

And my favourite car of all time is probably the 250gto.

The only Ferrari I have ever liked is the F430. Nothing else they've made looks that good to me, but it still can't compare to the ness of a DB9.

Not my picture, but that is exactly what I drive down to rims, color, doors; I just wish mine was that clean

That truck looks mean! It's going to be the next truck I get (Chevy Silverado z71). My current truck only gets like 9-10 mpg and has 141,000 miles on it so maybe by the end of the summer I'll get it

My dream car is definitely a '67 Shelby GT350. One of my uncles buddy's has one that's yellow with black stripes... so hot.

Yeah but lots (probably over 90%) of those Shelbys are just kit cars...takes away some of the exotic qualities if you can just buy the parts and assemble them.  Saw a Ford GT yesterday, absolutely amazing.

My car:

About 300hp, probably more, and maybe around 380-400ft-lb torque. The Caprice 9c1's were 260hp and 330ft-lb torque but I have a cold air intake, entirely custom exhaust with dual Magnaflow mufflers for that mean growl, and I just recently changed oil with Royal Purple to give me a little extra boost.

Meanwhile, my dream cars:

Actually since you made this topic for questions, I'd like to see if I'll get a response. I have 2 Chevy Caprices but one of the bodies are pretty much totaled. The engine and transmission both work fine so I figured in the summer I was going to strip it of what it's worth and junk the body and frame. I was going to remove the transmission and engine but was wondering if I had to do anything special to store it. I know you should turn a car on every week or two to keep everything moving in there but if it's taken out of the car, I obviously can't do that. Does anybody know what else I'll have to do to it?

Keep i in a cool, dry place. You should probably fill it up with fluid, which you'll have to junk once you want it to start. Manually turn the crank every once in a while to prevent solidifying.
