Eternal Darkness...
it was Nintendo Game Cube only release they had a "insanity meter" or something to that effect..
It really messed with your mind at one point a official looking screen says
"Game error saved memory data lost"
And at that point your already hours into this game... then you snap outta the insane mode and back to the regular game play. Other effects would whispering or moaning (the moaning being the scary zombie gonna eats your brain moaning not a porn movie type moaning) these sounds are done at random times i your "ears" and really makes it a scary pucker factor late at night.
Or you would morph into a creature and limp aound while the game has altered the controller so none of the controller buttons are mapped normally...
I know i am not doing the "mind altering fucked up factor" this game got across. I would recommend trying it out to any Gamecube owners who have not played it yet.
Resident Evil...
first tryed it on the Gamecube again and the part near the begining were the zombie doberman pincers bust through the hallway glass on the stormy lightning filled night... via a full surround sound speaker set up at volume 7 of 10. When it was ACTUALLY raining and thunder/lighting outside in the real world at that moment
well lets just say at that point I was not aware that a "little girl scout" type scream could be generated by myself at such a high pitch whilst simultanously attempted to take a crap and a piss and plot the quickest course to the shotgun down the hallway.
I could never play that game at night after that, nor can i clean the spot on the carpet where this event occured.
