20 minutes on SF map....
22 Kills IAR....

Hmmmmm....I've only accomplished that about, oh 1,000 times!!!!!

What gives?  Anyone got a clue?

My only guess is I don't have a SF service ribbon yet, but that shouldn't matter.

A lot of times the time limit is the hard part. 20 minutes may seem like nothing, but a long Karkand takes 10 minutes. Time passes slow.

Try a large ticket, low man Devil's Perch with the APC. Go off shore and camp it up. Very few people get the AT kit in SF and since you're in the water they can't get C4 on you.

64 player servers with under 14 players per side is your best bet.

The kills are never an issue for me, but the round time factor is. I find it a bit stupid that the ribbon also relies on the time of the round and not dependent on the skill of the driver using the vehicle...

I was lucky enough to get both my Chopper Specialist ribbons without trying... but I'm still missing out on my damned Armor ribbons even though I'm nearly Sgt Major. >8[

Earned mine earlier today, and I wasn't even trying for it. 15 man server on Iron Gator got me it. Just sat in the apc and blasted enemies scrambling about on the carrier- even managed to take down some helos too

Warlord 20 Players on 64 Map 300 Tickets. Will be no Problem.

BTW: Warlord is the map for badges!

Wow, uh, I got my armoured service AND SF Armoured service at the same time. Added a gold medal too. Just be a complete armour whore on a mostly infantry map - I got mine on Devil's Pearch, there's only like an APC and that's it in terms of armour in that map, (size 32.)

I have got that ribbon twice in game but it did not show up in my awards at all. That is not the only time this has happened. It seems it takes alittle more for it to register on SF!?!?!?

The first time I got that ribbon was on Ghost Town in the T-90 the first time I played SF. I also got three badges the same round that did not show up. I thought it just might be it doesn't register the first round but it has happened since.

My advice it seems that if they call for 22 kills you need about 25-28 (this does not happen on all awards but it does happen on SF for some reason).

EDIT: Also the best way to get those time required awards is put in your filters that you want large maps only apply those filters and select a server that has a max of #/20 poeple on a large map. Those rounds can last upwards to an hour! Hope it helps!

I got it on 64 player Ghost Town a while back.  God forbid SF give me a ribbon ever, but I do have this one.

I got it along with the regular armored badge at the same time without trying by being an armor whore on Warlord.

You wouldn't mind if people ignored that "hint". It shows up at exactly 22 kills. The problem with being in armor is that when someone jumps out of his vehicle, and you blow that up, the destroyed vehicle makes the kill.

For istance, you drive a m1a2, your opponent is a pickup truck. There are 4 people in the pickup.

Bernadictus [m1a2] person 1
Bernadictus [m1a2] person 2
Bernadictus [m1a2] person 3
Bernadictus [pickup] person 4

Person 4 managed to jump out before the pickup was destroyed, but was hit by the exploding vehicle. Thus giving you 3 armor kills and 1 transport kills.

Many people tend to forget that.

I got it at the same time I got my basic engineer specialist and vet engineer specialist is SF.  I got in the round late and still got 22 kills in the Brit Tank.  I thought it was 20 kills to get it.  I just stayed in the tank cause I was trying to get the 22 kills for vet engineer specialist.  That was on Warlord.

I just keep driving down different streets between the palace secuirty cp, mosque, and plaze, with the occasional side trip through the insurgent hideout.  guess it depends on the # of players and the skill of them in the server you play in.
