BF2S Forums Change one server to TF2?

Ok so, Trackr has come along now, albeit it might not have had the impact some people wanted, but it's still here isn't it?

So, where are the servers?

If made just one into something like a TF2 server, I know I could get it populated with my friends who play TF2 all the time, and a full server can only be a good thing. More people will know and hear about BF2s/Trackr and hopefully come join us on the forums.

I'm not having a go at whoever's in charge or anything, I just want to know what's happening.

Why can't we advertise the TF2 server on the main page like we do with BF2?

If that isn't possible however, then I don't mind donating.

We could, and that's the intent with trackr ... but, this is a BF2 site, and the advertising bang-for-the-buck isn't as great if TF2 is advertised, so it may not be an attractive option for the server companies.

I don't think that only front-page advertising is enough in exchange for a server. Not any more, anyway. Not on this site.

We should definitely confirm everything though chuy. For one, he may have plans.

That is a good idea. The ping will probably be too high for me to play though but it should be great for USA'ers.

That's a good idea with gibson, but like NooBest says, can't we at least approach the providers and see what they say? The worst thing they can say is no.

Well a TF2 server ain't that expensive. Only 24 slots which also means you don't need to have a real beefy server to handle the lag.

So I'm for it.
