Onkyo TX-SR 606
As well as a 1 meter Optical cable.
And last tuesday my 5.1 Teufe Theater 1 sound system arrived (and other stuff, wall mounts, 30m speaker wires and banana plugs)
I haven't heard Onkyo speakers so far but, if their speakers are as good as their receivers, it should be pretty good
NM I just looked it up and yes..

yeah the center is really good. I made the mistake of not matching horn tweeters (which the RC52 has) with my LR which have dome tweeters. Im looking into a pair of klipsch reference floor standers and am gonna use teh polks as the rears. However, the most impressive part is my sub... this can knock the paint off the walls. You have a comfy ass looking den, looking good!Kmarion wrote:

TBH I can't imagine using a bigger sub. The one I have is better than any other 10" I've heard under $700. For the price polks DSW series is pretty kick ass. If I ever expand I can run another inline.. it's just more than enough now.

It's boring and loud.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
I'll have it then.Freezer7Pro wrote:
