I've got a girlfriend. She's amazing. Totally brightened up my life.
For those of you who don't know, her name's Jenni. On the 23rd of this month we'll have been going out for exactly a year.
We got drunk at a friends party. Ended up making out. One of the best nights of my life. The next few days, we hung out, and on the 23rd I asked her out, and she said yes.
A few days later, at the same friends house, there was another party. We just hung out and kissed, and I had never felt so happy.

I guess what I'm trying to say here is... if you know someone, and you like them. Godfuck, ask them out. What's the worst that could happen? They say no. Okay, pick up your bags and move on. But what if they say yes? You could end up like me. In love. And when you're in love, every day is easy, you can accomplish anything. Who knows, you might get married, have kids. I know if I was stuck with Jenni for the rest of my life, I would not complain one bit.
Sieze the moment, guys. And don't sit like I did in OP and feel sorry for yourself. Go out and grab life by the balls.
