I rape rape rape with the M16/XM8.
I'm not "pumped" for BC2, but I'm atleast a little excited for it...should be interesting to see what they add.
BF:BC is a good game. Like CoD 4 (and 5), it actually made FPS on consoles not suck so much. The damage system is done well, and the sound is incredible, probably the best in any war game yet. Just because it's done so realistically. The graphics are nothing special but they're not bad either.
I'd say the usual BF series gripes such as the netcode etc.. was the biggest grips, but the game was and is much more balanced than BF2.
Perhaps what needs to be done with BF:BC 2 is just make things bigger. Bigger maps so that Jets can be added, 32 or even 64 player if they can pull it off (instead of 24) and generally a more ambitious approach.
Disappointed that they didn't go for a BF3 route though, the BF:BC engine is a good 'un and would've been awesome if they made a PC game based on it, a true sequel to BF2

I think the 2142 engine is far smoother, cleaner and better to play in. And looks nicer.

Seems like shovelware tbh, it should be a fun one to play with friends (I played BC with my buddy and we could rape face, just the two of us ) but it'll be interesting. I also stopped playing once I reached level 25, it starts to become a "what's the point?" type game.
Anyone want to make a bet as to how many times EA changes their intro video logo throughout the previews for the game? () (Seriously, go look at every single preview for an already released EA game, see how many times the "EA GAMES" intro video is changed...)
It's an upgraded version of the BF2 engine. Looks far nicer, has much better looking special effects and is far smoother.TopHat01 wrote:

I was going to say BF2 engine at first but then remembered that the 2142 engine is the same but much better.

Meh, didn't enjoy the first one that much.
Only fun was driving around with a bro in the back of the jeep and grinding repair points.

FUCK YOU DICE.
FFS, why can't developers grow a pair of balls and release a PC game without PMSing themselves if their game is pirated/cracked?! Everybody knows that if you want to play online, you have to buy the game, and true BF fans wouldn't pirate the game anyways, we'd all buy it.
Because they're payed not to.TopHat01 wrote:

Though we'll see how Sega deals with the piracy.
Diablo 3 also.Poseidon wrote:

Piracy is but a scapegoat. Maybe SEGA knows this, Blizz definitely does.
