I recently loved the self titled album by Santogold while boarding, probably because I've heard one track in a snowboarding video...

some other favourites are foreign beggars and muse. pretty different stuff, but it just gets me in the mood.

I like listening to hard rock or rap when I go up. Usually some SOAD or Metallica to pump me up, then once I get in the groove I bump the hip hop and just chillllll.

I tend to listen to fairly chill stuff when I ride. Incubus etc. I like the sound of listening to rap as KJ says, but I don't like enough of it to make a decent playlist. I do also make playlists with music I hear in ski/board movies, 'cause I associate that with riding. I'd do that.

I was skiing all yesterday, and was thinking how awesome it would be to be listening to the James Bond theme song from "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". When bond is skiing down the mountain, I love that tune.
