In the grand scheme of things, who fucking cares if they break the rules. We're all here to shoot the shit. In 20 years from now, will you be glad that you kept BF2S well moderated? You probably won't even think of the place. Serious fucking business going on here...

Obviously serious rules like that, but for the shit that people like GS etc.. have been banned for, lil' ig has a point

Well let's see here, one of the rules is that pornography isn't allowed.  Since people access this site from both school and work, if we allowed people to break that rule, a person could get in serious trouble if they were caught viewing pornography while at work and that person could potentially lose his job.  And in 20 years, I'd imagine you WOULD still remember that.

Are any of the people mentioned banned for pornography? I had 2 perm bans for pornography, and I'm still here. Your point fails pretty hard. And no, I'm not mad, little tom. Are you mad that I'm here after you perm banned me?

Sometimes it does and sometimes it's actually more work than fun ... a fine line to balance to try and make the right decisions when needed, some popular and others the opposite ... one thing is for certain, we don't keep grudges and in the few cases we do we try to not let that influence a decision ...

According to Chuy no member is permbanned forever, most get a second chance and even a third ... phishman is the perfect example ... each case and member have the chance to speak their case and repent their sins when making a new account, some do and others don't and yet others fail in their attempt to regain access ...

No one got their account reset by joining the server that night as no one joined the server sam posted(because the link was taken out of the post).. All the people that got their accounts hacked were by another hacking website. Notice how everyone who complained about having their account hacked on bf2s had a stats link to their user name? Sam did not setup the server or hack their accounts if that is what you are talking about, as A) He is too stupid to pull something like that off and B) Still to stupid.

Yeah, even IF he did stat hack the members of bf2s who really gives a fuck?

Only a small percentage of this forum regularly plays this game and most of them dont give a shit about stats.

I recall making a thread about how this place was modded, some 2 years ago in the days BF2 was actually played and the forums were growing, but at this point all I can say is that you're not going to fix anything. This is where I think you're torn: You've got an established community, and you want to extend it's life, but you don't want to hurt it in that practice. The choice you have to make is this: Do you want to keep the dickheads around for the sake of having them around, or will you proceed towards something that you want?

If you guys are going to do anything more then let out a heavy sigh anytime someone comes in spamming racism or bile from the armpit of the internet, you're going to have to drop a small portion of your community but from everything I see, it doesn't seem like you want them here anyways.
