Kovalev. Pfff... Nolan has scored the best goal in an all star game.
You only see playing players in All-star games. You really think the score would be 12-11 if it was ok to tackle???
Sigh, is anybody watching the Bruins-Capitals game tonight? I must say I'm ashamed to call myself of a Bruins fan. Ovechkin took a hook from Chara toward the end of the second and hit a rut in the ice. Ended up falling down and going head first into the boards. As we all know, sliding head first into the boards is never safe, fortunately he turned his head away to absorb most of the impact in his shoulder. That's not the problem, it was more of an unfortunate play than anything else. What pisses me off is the fact that while he laid on the ice, even after the whistle blew, Bruins fans were chanting "O-VIE O-VIE O-VIE" WTF IS UP WITH THAT?!?! Seriously, what is wrong with you if you chant an injured players name? I honestly wished the Bruins weren't doing as well as they were doing because all these bandwagon fans are out there giving us true fans a bad name. I feel disgusted to consider myself a Bruins fan after that.

Erm, why shouldn't they? He's THE best player in the league (although Malkin is arguable) and was injured via an illegal move...and you're bashing your own fans because they were good sports?
A lot better than the Ranger fans who tried to turn Pat LaFontaine's ambulance over.
I'd be proud of your fans, tbh. That's sportsmanship if I've ever seen it.

I admire your sarcasm.
I was proud to be a Bruins fan when the other Bruins fans were Bruins fans. Back when after the Montreal fans boo the American national anthem, we come back and cheer the Canadian national anthem. Now there's no difference between Bruins fans and classless Montreal fans...

Again, you should be happy that you have the better fans who are the bigger people. Which is odd, coming from Boston...knowing how the Red Sox crowd is.
Sheesh, and to think i was actually undecided on the issue of separatists...
lol.. rick nash 3, detroit 2
kind of cool to score your hatrick goal as the game winner in over time.

Looked like Nash should have had 5 or 6 goals.
well I hear the NHL is considering making the goal pipes smaller and the goalie equipment smaller........FrankieSpankie3388 wrote:

side note, i had to set up a shipment of some t-shirts for the edmonton oilers game on friday. some fan promotion crap. i so wanted to fuck it up on purpose. but, i like a paycheck. why they need to buy shirts in nashville and ship them to edmonton is beyond me.
They better not do that. I'm sick of these so called "fans" who want to see the game keep changing when it has only gotten worse over the years.usmarine wrote:

i like it how it is right now.........except for the replay policy.FrankieSpankie3388 wrote:

I dont have a problem with it, and yet it fucking cost my team a Stanley cup in Game 6 OT, with a 3-2 series lead.usmarine wrote:

Actually i dont have a problem with replay, it is a job that has to be fufilled, and i do not want a baseball-esque system where whatever the ref says goes.usmarine wrote:

no no no.....not what i am saying. it needs replay. but, the replay has to be in the arena. like the NFL imo. with ref's making the call, not former players in toronto.N00bkilla55404 wrote:

I would rather have another NFl-esque rule, where the original call stands unless conclusive evidence is found otherwise, but even then there are so many idiots who have no idea what irrefutable means.
dont worry, i hate Toronto for other reasons, no point wasting it on replay.
lol. but king gary hates the CBJN00bkilla55404 wrote:

Sabres raped last night, 10-2 lol. I expected a win, but wow. Stafford got a hat trick and his uncle is the equipment manager of Edmonton hahaha.
