from a ppd point I rank about 50. Soon I'll push into the top 15. My global rank is still pretty low since this name/team combo is pretty new. I have another 5M spread out over several other names/teams, but since you can't combine 'em I had to start over

Sorry for the points drop tonight. My main HDD on my PC at my parents died. I'll take some time until I get around to replacing it. For now I just moved the 2 8800GT over to my dads PC. Shouldn't effect total ppd all that much. An e5200 @ stock with the win SMP client anyhow only does 500ppd

I got my good ol' 3870 back up and folding Doing an ideal maximum of 9000 PPD now.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Stock shader is 1200. Just a quick, dirty oc; 1500 worked fine, and 1600 BSOD'd. 1550 works fine this far.

probs points towards my ppd drop. I'm just reinstalling 4 PCs. It takes time to get everything up and running properly, especially with these shitty NV drivers

My SMP client died. I turned it off to play some Red Alert 3 and it hasn't worked since. I type in

fah6 -smp

in command prompt like I always do and nothing happens. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling and restarting my PC but it still won't run. Even with the -configonly flag it doesn't run. Double-clicking on the actual .exe does nothing. WTF?

The only thing that happened between it working and not working was a power surge. The lights flickered and my 2nd PC lost power, but my primary rig kept on running (I was playing RA3 at the time and SMP client was not running) because it is hooked up to a surge protector. So I don't think that can be it. The GPU client is working fine.

E8400
Asus P5Q
