If he's going to raise anyone's taxes, he needs to ensure across-the-board spending cuts, as well--ideally, dollar for dollar (or more). If he's going to cut taxes, he needs to identify spending cuts (dollar for dollar) to offset the loss of revenue for the next fiscal year.

I think during an election year both parties refrain from telling you they are going to cut spending. Simply because the less informed see it as taking more money away from them and not using it.Turquoise wrote:

wanted to vote for paul, was unable to. It was a toss up between Mccain and nader..went with Mccain..knowing he really didn't have a chance anyway.
