So does your comedy career.

Wasn't attempting humor there, but okay!

Srsly though, if he does something wrong I'm not going to refrain from criticizing him...I'm not blinded by a political party like others.

That remains to be seen...

Obama's moderateness, that is. Still hasn't shown itself.

Satire without comedy.. why that's just sarcasm my boy.

I'll root for him like I root for my favorite head coach. I'll be critical while pulling for my team, America.

He's trying though, to say the least. Which is a good thing to start.

I don't know about that.  Some of his Cabinet picks are moderate, and his stimulus proposal does have some tax cuts to go along with the bailout spending.

Granted, I think Obama just needs to cut spending, but neither party seems to want that.

Some of his "tax cuts" are actually handouts (ie, welfare) in disguise. Like giving "tax cuts" to those who don't pay taxes to begin with...basically giving them a check for breathing.

If he's going to raise anyone's taxes, he needs to ensure across-the-board spending cuts, as well--ideally, dollar for dollar (or more). If he's going to cut taxes, he needs to identify spending cuts (dollar for dollar) to offset the loss of revenue for the next fiscal year.

I think during an election year both parties refrain from telling you they are going to cut spending. Simply because the less informed see it as taking more money away from them and not using it.

I personally would prefer that he just repealed the Bush tax cuts and then cut government spending.

We need to pay down the national debt and let the market clear itself.

Is this poll going to be skewed for all the people who didn't vote so they have to answer "no" on the poll?
