Your satire detection sensors fail, Kerry! I can't vote anyways though, so it doesn't matter much now does it?Kmarion wrote:

Srsly though, if he does something wrong I'm not going to refrain from criticizing him...I'm not blinded by a political party like others.
He's trying though, to say the least. Which is a good thing to start.FEOS wrote:

Obama's moderateness, that is. Still hasn't shown itself.
Now there's an analogy I can go with.Kmarion wrote:
I'll root for him like I root for my favorite head coach. I'll be critical while pulling for my team, America.
I don't know about that. Some of his Cabinet picks are moderate, and his stimulus proposal does have some tax cuts to go along with the bailout spending.FEOS wrote:

Some of his "tax cuts" are actually handouts (ie, welfare) in disguise. Like giving "tax cuts" to those who don't pay taxes to begin with...basically giving them a check for breathing.Turquoise wrote:

Granted, I think Obama just needs to cut spending, but neither party seems to want that.
I think during an election year both parties refrain from telling you they are going to cut spending. Simply because the less informed see it as taking more money away from them and not using it.Turquoise wrote:

I personally would prefer that he just repealed the Bush tax cuts and then cut government spending.FEOS wrote:

If he's going to raise anyone's taxes, he needs to ensure across-the-board spending cuts, as well--ideally, dollar for dollar (or more). If he's going to cut taxes, he needs to identify spending cuts (dollar for dollar) to offset the loss of revenue for the next fiscal year.
They could have a scrap of intelligence and hit null vote like me.mtb0minime wrote:
Is this poll going to be skewed for all the people who didn't vote so they have to answer "no" on the poll?
