For what the G.E.C.K. does, it is pretty easy to pick up. It could be considerably more difficult to use.

Why do I even bother using this stuff?
Now I gotta travel back to Megaton and de-toxify. Fucking hell I was having fun exploring. I'm gunna wait it out and see what the side effects are. So far the screen gets really blurry and my vats aim has gone to shit.
edit: I'm tempted to find some buffout and psycho to become a full junkie. lol

<3 my plasma rifle deathclaws drop like flies now. Lincoln's repeater isnt as good as some have made it out to be to long between shots. Ive got so much psycho and buffout its hilarious, I should become a junkie. I rarely have to use anything next time around Ill play at a higher difficulty and be bad guy.
Yeh, and I didnt use 3/4 of the guns cause they were all worse than that special plasma rifle. I mean it does more damage than Lincoln's repeater, and I had ~10 more small guns skill (88ish energy, 100 small guns).
Seriously, deathclaws were 3 hits at most. anything else (cept SMB ofc) were 1 and somtimes 2.

I had finished the game but I'm going over all the side quests. I saved before the finale so I could explore, etc.
Is it me, or does anyone else's eyes get really sore/tired after playing this game for just a little bit? I can handle staring at a computer screen for extended amounts of time and be fine, but with this game my eyes hurt a lot.

Oh boy do I fucking love this game! I spent forever exploring in the metro tunnels and finally got to the Foggy Bottom station. As I'm about to go to the computer terminal that holds something that looks like armor or some sort of suit, the game crashes. Last auto save was probably an hour or two prior. So I go through all that again, explore all around Arlington Cemetary, make it to Mama Dolce's. Go through nearly the entire area, killing everyone. Make it outside to the guy with the missile launcher. He kills me once, I re-load, take him out, then run up some stairs and suddenly die. I re-load again on my auto save at that point and I'm fucking stuck in a fucking wall with no HUD showing up; not even the guys out there are shooting me. I can still use VATS and still shoot the guys and they die, but they're not paying attention to me and I can't fucking move.
I exit to the main menu, re-load my auto save, and the same thing happens. And since the auto saves rewrite older auto saves, I have to go back to my last manual save... which was back at the start of the game...
Fuck this bullshit. I was only 5 or 6 hours in at this point, but it's fucking ridiculous. I was enjoying myself and having a good time, too. But now I'm completely turned off.

i use alcohol from time to time for the temporary +1 in strength if i'm carrying some loot.

@mtb: save frequently. the game might not crash but there are a couple bugs around. i know i lost several of my items (my weight went from near overburdened (maybe 270) as a slept to 160 as i slept), i was like, oh okay, cool, somehow im just not as heavy any more. a couple hours later i realize that i am missing several extras of weapons i had (which i just wanted to sell anyway, so w/e) and all my bobby pins. plus some. i went to go lockpick something and i had negative three bobby pins.

When I go on bf2s after I've been playing a while all the white text looks pink! I nearly made a thread about has the colour scheme changed, haha!
I always use buffout so I can carry more stuff back to my Megaton home (where I'm stockpiling all the good armour, weapons, and stuff for making the customs guns)!haffeysucks wrote:
