I really don't 'get' some of the senseless changes...
Gibs have now been removed for everything except direct-explosive hits. Why? All we get now is some pathetic attempt at a ragdoll animation-- the body normally flopping over like a massive flaccid, lifeless cock. I hate to appeal to any sort of 'realism' gaffe but if a rocket exploded one metre next to you, your body would be fucking ruined. Don't gimme this shitty ragdall slouch-over bullshit, it's a pointless change. I want to have the satisfaction and lulz of blowing my opponents into tiny chunks with my projectile rockets and sticky spammage!
Also, I can't help but feel in the last 4-5 hours of post-patch play that the rocket splash damage has been silently nerfed again. Either that or I was just having a terribly unlucky day, rockets seemed to do meagre splash damage this afternoon on anything that wasn't a gibbing direct-hit. Very strange.
Oh and also the usual poorly-optimized performance issues to complain. I hate losing frames needlessly whenever they make some completely arbirtrary and unimportant game-changes; I do not want to sacrifice 5fps of fluid playability for a Level 3 teleporter to have a slightly different animation, thank you very much!
