where can i acquire a hack/mod?mtb0minime wrote:
I <3 My PSP. More than just a gaming system, it's great for surfing the web, watching tv/movies, portable mp3 player, and so easy to hack/mod. Lately I've been playing more PS1 games on it than actual PSP games, and I haven't even put on a GBA, NES, or SNES emulator on it yet.
Plus flash memory is so cheap, I got an 8 GB Memstick Duo a couple months ago for $40, and they're probably even cheaper now. I have a bunch of music, some tv shows I converted from DVDs, and some PS1 games. Also, you can make images of your UMDs so that you don't have to carry a bunch of those around.
And the PSP becomes more powerful if you've got a PS3. Can "link" the two together and do all kinds of stuff (e.g. start downloading a game or demo onto the PS3 remotely using the PSP).
Honestly, the PSP has been the last great purchase I made, and I'm so happy I made it. It really pays off and is absolutely worth every penny.

There are many tutorials on it, just search Google. Some of them are quite scary and the people doing them don't really explain what's going on, so you don't feel as confident. But this one I used and it worked great.MAGUIRE93 wrote:

Or you can spend $3 on a mini-usb -> usb cable and hook up your PSP to your computer and put movies, music, and games on it...FrankieSpankie3388 wrote:
I don't have either but one thing I want to point out about DS which would definitely make me buy a DS over PSP is that there's a cartridge that costs I think $100 or something like that that can connect to your USB port on your computer and you can actually put ROMs on it which is pretty cool, aka free unlimited games for DS.
Can you put PSP games on it though? I don't really know much about these, I'm just wanted to point it out as many people don't know this.mtb0minime wrote:

Yeah you can. You can buy them off the PlayStation Network and download them to your PSP. You can also mod/hack the PSP and make images of the UMDs you already have and put them on there.FrankieSpankie3388 wrote:

I meant that it was a good thing.
What's bad about free games, and various free applications?
