If his CPU only needs ~1.39V to reach it, it isn't so special. Intel stock coolers are underrated, I have an E5200 cooler sitting on a P4 @ 3.4/1.42, temps barely go over 65C. The E8400 stock cooler is way more powerful than the E5200 one..Sup wrote:

Doesn't the E5200 still have the old "fat" cooler? Cos E8400 has the slim one.
The E5200 sink is about 1.5cm tall and has the low-RPM fan and alu core. E8400 should have copper core and high-RPM fan..Sup wrote:
