When there was a Republican/ Democrat match up, I voted Republican.
If there was a 2 way match and one of the candidates was a Libertarian, I voted Libertarian.

Oh, and I voted for McCain/Palin.  I doubt ayone here will be shocked by that.

Poor candidates on both sides.  Disappointing.  I voted for the one who actually takes care of their family.
I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something.  - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.

Do all Texans vote for republicans? Or most of them probably right?

I voted for McCain simply because I'm a libertarian at heart ... our government works slowest in gridlock when the two major parties control different branches of government.  I assume the Senate/House elections are going to be a blowout for the Dems ... so I went with a (R) in the White House.

Personally, though I don't like many of Obama's policies, I think he would be a better President.  But, our Goverment gets sick whenever the Pubs or the Dems control everything.

At this early stage it would appear we have a massively right wing American contingent on the forum...

...and an irrational contingent at that - he picked Palin as a VP ffs!!!

Libertarian for Pres/VP and most judicial positions.

Republican when no Libertarian candidate was available. Except for the Senate. I voted for Cornyn (R).

Most Obama fan boys are either too young to vote, not even American or......well, just those two.

The only Obama voters on this forum that I know of is gs, usmarine (lol) and kez (marion)

Also, I hope no non-US people vote and mess up the poll, keep it legit pl0x

Don't really give a shit how BS it sounds to you.  Ob has relatives living in POVERTY and he does nothing to help them, yet he's gonna solve everyone elses problem?  OB has a lot of money yet he does nothing to help them... McCain bought his family members houses.   OB is a man that has no character, loyalty or experience.

He certainly has a very good character. I don't believe he didn't give his grandma money cos he didn't want too, as far as I know he loved her.
"McCain bought his family members houses. "---->he should donate some money to the poor tbh, they can buy houses by them selves but he had to buy villas for them didn't he. Spoiled people.

Went in thinking of going for Nader, but then I look at the list of names and things got a whole lot more serious, so I opted for someone else.

Not like it matters who I voted for anyway, I'm in California, this place is going blue no matter what.

It wasn't that long ago that I would have considered McCain, but he went native.  Backing to many Bush policies, burying his nose in the ass of those ultra right-wing fruitcakes (evangelicals), and then picking one as his VP.  No thanks.

I had actually considered Nader, but Virginia is now a Battleground state.  And, I gotta say where I live (Northern Virginia - heavy Democrat population), the Obama supporters were everywhere.  Driving along the highway, they were in the medium strip waving banners ... at the polling place there were 10 Obama "last minute" suggesters on one side ... and only 1 McCain "last minute" suggester (she looked lonely and outnumbered).

Our phone has had several phone-bank calls today from the parties (mostly McCain).

a bunch of kids from my school were allowed to skip so they could go campaigning in Virginia for any 'soft' voters (AKA people who were leaning only slighlty to either OBama or McCain)

none of them can even vote.

Isn't there a law against that? <- semi-sarcastic/semi-serious
Around here there were a bunch of "No on 8" folk, but they were only within a block of any polling place, not right at it. I'm sure actual polling places are required to be neutral, but there's probably nothing against anyone standing outside.

Those "suggesters" should be careful, though. Enough of them might piss someone off and make them lean the other way...

Well, Dallas and Austin (and Houston, somewhat) have democratic bastions, but Texas is pretty solidy a red state.  Normally.  They are already reporting record turnouts here, so I think it is anyones game.

Well apparently from Mc can'ts speech today. If you break your arm in a snow mobile race and then win it, you are ready for Washington D.C.

Its quite obvious which one is bs

the black panthers disappeared in the 70s @_@

edit nvm there's a "new black panther party":

Members have referred to "bloodsucking Jews", and Khalid Abdul Muhammad has blamed slavery and even the Holocaust on the 'hooked-nose, bagel-eating, lox-eating, perpetrating-a-fraud, so-called Jew'.
