Do all Texans vote for republicans? Or most of them probably right?imortal wrote:
When there was a Republican/ Democrat match up, I voted Republican.
If there was a 2 way match and one of the candidates was a Libertarian, I voted Libertarian.
Oh, and I voted for McCain/Palin. I doubt ayone here will be shocked by that.
So whoever takes care of his family better will also be the better president?DBBrinson1 wrote:
Poor candidates on both sides. Disappointing. I voted for the one who actually takes care of their family.

Most Obama fan boys are either too young to vote, not even American or......well, just those two.CameronPoe wrote:

Don't really give a shit how BS it sounds to you. Ob has relatives living in POVERTY and he does nothing to help them, yet he's gonna solve everyone elses problem? OB has a lot of money yet he does nothing to help them... McCain bought his family members houses. OB is a man that has no character, loyalty or experience..Sup wrote:

Sound like BS to me.
I know one or two others but I won't name and shame... lest they be shunned as red menace commies...Mek-Stizzle wrote:

He certainly has a very good character. I don't believe he didn't give his grandma money cos he didn't want too, as far as I know he loved her.DBBrinson1 wrote:

I had actually considered Nader, but Virginia is now a Battleground state. And, I gotta say where I live (Northern Virginia - heavy Democrat population), the Obama supporters were everywhere. Driving along the highway, they were in the medium strip waving banners ... at the polling place there were 10 Obama "last minute" suggesters on one side ... and only 1 McCain "last minute" suggester (she looked lonely and outnumbered).mtb0minime wrote:
Went in thinking of going for Nader, but then I look at the list of names and things got a whole lot more serious, so I opted for someone else.
Not like it matters who I voted for anyway, I'm in California, this place is going blue no matter what.
Hm... guess the DC electoral council discriminates against black women and crazy black men...OrangeHound wrote:

Isn't there a law against that? <- semi-sarcastic/semi-seriousOrangeHound wrote:

Our phone has had several phone-bank calls today from the parties (mostly McCain).
Well, Dallas and Austin (and Houston, somewhat) have democratic bastions, but Texas is pretty solidy a red state. Normally. They are already reporting record turnouts here, so I think it is anyones game..Sup wrote:

Well apparently from Mc can'ts speech today. If you break your arm in a snow mobile race and then win it, you are ready for Washington D.C..Sup wrote:

Around here there were a bunch of "No on 8" folk, but they were only within a block of any polling place, not right at it. I'm sure actual polling places are required to be neutral, but there's probably nothing against anyone standing outside.
Those "suggesters" should be careful, though. Enough of them might piss someone off and make them lean the other way...
Members have referred to "bloodsucking Jews", and Khalid Abdul Muhammad has blamed slavery and even the Holocaust on the 'hooked-nose, bagel-eating, lox-eating, perpetrating-a-fraud, so-called Jew'.
