Well, Barack Obama actually flat out told the San Francisco Chronicle (SF Gate) that he was willing to see the coal industry go bankrupt in a January 17, 2008 interview. The result? Nothing.
But sadly, when America looks back with regret at the election of B. Hussein O. it will come to pass that the blame lies squarely at the feet of the phony conservative George W. Bush.
If politicians making lying and misrepresentation a matter of policy they allow a radical extreme alternative to seem appealing.
