oh, I forgot to post my new PC.
Oh well, Here's what I've done to make my case silent:
- Removed all the fans, replaced with 1x Nexus intake and 1x nexus exhaust @7V (Real Silent Casefan)
- Removed honeycomb grill thing
- Added acoustipack
- covered top air hole, because I prefer a straight front-back airflow
todo:
- suspend harddrives. I had bought some elastic band, but I can't find it
P182 is even sexy in a box
Naked P182
Added Acoustipack to the door:
Added Acoustipack to the side panels (looks identical on both, but the "main" one has thicker Acoustipack - back side panel is in the pic):
Cut holes so it fits....
...on the fan clips...
...like this (yes, the case is upside down now, that is the "roof"):
I didn't take off the paper on the part right under the fan hole, so it doesn't sit and collect dust:
Under the PSU cage (this was a pain):
Back side panel on - A nice fit, ehh?
7V fan mod, with added knife for manlyness:
removed the honeycomb thing in front of the exhaust:

3GB DDR2-667 4-4-4-12
Radeon 3870 GDDR4 (776/1126) @ 877/1296
MSI K9N-SLI nF570 SLI board, pretty shit.
200GB IDE HD
Some case without a front (not gonna be looking at it, so why bother?)
AM2 stock cooler (gonna go get my CNPS7500 today and slap it on)
Chieftech 500W PSU (16+18+18 on +12V)
Windows XP, due to soundcardcompatibilityness.
Gonna be folding at a little over three kilopoints per day from today on

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
The tube is a little kinked after the first GPU but I cba to fix that until my second GPU block arrives
E8400, P5Q deluxe, 2x2GB DDR2-1066, 2x 4870, d-tek fuzion CPU, d-tek fuzion GFX (x2 soon), tripple switfttech rad, HPPS+, ...
Not an ideal set-up, but the best I could manage without needing to import

I wonder why a poor batch E7200 is slower than a super-batch E8400
